This evening, I’ve been looking at PowerGUI, an extensible admin console based on Powershell. PowerGUI, by Quest Software is currently at version 1.0.13 Beta.
Installation was smooth as silk, with a comfortable Windows Installer interface happily installing the product for me. The only gripe is at the end of the install, the 1 second to complete stays for about a minute
PowerGui certainly works really well, however I found some minor issues with the treeview not necessarily expanding in the WMI Browser.
Happily PowerGui detected my Operations Manager 2007 add-ins, delivering a really interesting concept if they can complete it.
I’m going to watch http://www.powergui.org with interest and suggest you do to!
