Hi all. I’m recovering from pneumonia and haven’t touched my machines in about 5 days. As soon as I’m up and about, I’ll make those teched decks available.
Nick
My teched decks will be posted here shortly after my sessions complete.
It’s about 45mins now until we touch down in SA. I think this must have been the worst movie collection of an flight I have been on over the last 5 years.
I’ve resorted to watching Genesis live, phil Collins is saying hi to Rome!
Those of you doing Teched Africa 2008, see you Sunday.

So lots of people asked me how I did all my cool demos for Teched Africa 2007 held last week in Sun City. I made the call this year not to do live demos of the technology because I just spent way too much time typing and clicking windows and too little time conveying the message. In the weeks leading up to Teched, I recorded all my demos using Camtasia Studio 5. I then rendered them all to WMV (Windows Video).Once rendered, I inserted them as movies into powerpoint, set their location to be 0″, 0″ and set them to be viewed best at 1024×768.I set up my presentation at 1024×768 and the last thing to do was MEMORISE all the demos so the screen action could run and I could describe what I was doing. The audience reaction was extremely positive so I think I’m gonna do this again for all my big presentations. Watch this space!!!Technorati Tags:Microsoft, Camtasia, Teched
